PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timing belt and a pulley, and a printing carriage drive system and a printing paper feeding drive system which achieve a high level of quietness during driving operation. SOLUTION: The timing belt and the pulley, and the printing carriage drive system and the printing paper feed drive system are provided as their pulley and timing belt a pair of pulleys which comprise a slant tooth pulley and a toothless pulley, and an annular timing belt in which slant tooth is formed only in the range enabling driving from one end to the other of the driving range, and which is suspended between the slant tooth pulley and the toothless pulley.
