PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, lightweight, and high output rotary steam engine. SOLUTION: The rotary steam engine is provided with an operating chamber 16 having an expansion exhaust chamber 14. In the operating chamber 16, a rotary piston 24 is stored. While a high-pressure steam chamber 60 is formed concentrically to the operating chamber 16, and a timing rotor 62 is rotatably stored in it. The timing rotor 62 is continuously connected to the rotary piston 24 so that the stream chamber 60 is continuously connected to the exhaust chamber 14 concentrically, and concentrically activate high-pressure steam cyclically with the rotary piston 24.
