PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific port sealing member sealing an opening between a rotary cylindrical multidirectional valve element having a flow passage passing through the valve element, a valve having the port seal member installed on a port and having a specific bearing installed on the valve element for improving sealing property of each port, durability and self-rotation property of the valve element, and a method for satisfactorily changing a flow direction of fluid interposing pig with using the valve. SOLUTION: The multidirectional valve element 2 having the flow passage passing through the cylindrical body part is rotatably fitted into a valve case 3 having a cylindrical inner circumference surface. Lip type port seal members 10 of cylindrical shape and having inner diameter surfaces with tapered surfaces having an expanded diameter in lip surface sides (contact and slide surface) are provided in plural ports 9 provided in the valve case 3. The multidirectional selector valve element 2 is rotatably installed through deep groove ball bearings 4a, 4b fitted each other. |
