PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-transfer recording method and a heat-transfer recording device by which an excellent effect can be obtained in the correction of image defects. SOLUTION: Plasma is cast onto the image forming surface of a recording medium having the image forming surface of which the major component is a synthetic resin. Then, a coloring matter is transferred to the image-forming surface from an ink ribbon by a thermal head. Thus, the image recording is performed on the recording medium.
