PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the conventional technique has difficulty in maintaining for a long time a cracking performance against dioxins because the employed catalyst is poisoned by sulfur compounds. SOLUTION: An adsorption portion 6 provided to a cracking treatment portion 2 adsorbs sulfur compounds in an exhaust gas. Therefore, cracking portion 7 provided downstream of the adsorption portion 6 is not poisoned by the sulfur compounds. Further, by applying current on a heating source 9, the sulfur compounds adsorbed by the adsorption portion 6 can be desorbed so that the adsorption portion can be regenerated. |
