PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crown type retainer made of plastic in which a rolling body is not supported by a whole of an inner periphery surface of a pocket part, a good lubrication property is ensured and a retainer noise is made less and which is rotatable by a low torque. SOLUTION: The crown type retainer 6 made of plastic comprises an annular retaining base part 8 and several pairs of claw parts 10 extending, at an equal interval, along a circumferential direction from one side surface. The respective pairs of claw parts 10 are disposed in opposed to each other and tip ends 12 thereof apart from each other are provided with a pocket part 9 forming an opening 9. The pocket part 9 is partitioned to a notched circular shape by a series of inner periphery surface 11 comprising two inner periphery surfaces and an inner periphery surface of the retaining base part. A pitch circle diameter R1 of an inner periphery surface at a tip end side of the claw part 10 and a pitch circle diameter R2 of an inner periphery surface 14 at a remained bottom part side including the inner periphery surface of the retaining base part 8 are radially and unevenly distributed against a pitch circle diameter R0 of the bearing by a predetermined deviation amount δ. |
