PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assuredly achieve an insulation between an electric circuit board of an outdoor machine and a main body casing and ensure the safety of an operator in an air conditioner. SOLUTION: A controller disposed in the outdoor machine of the air conditioner is provided with a control board and the electric circuit board and an electrical equipment box to which the control board and the electric circuit board can be attached. In the controller, the electric circuit board 33 is vertically attached to a part near the main body casing of the electrical equipment box. In the electrical equipment box, an opening 44a is provided to expose the terminal part of the electric circuit board 33, a cover 44d is provided to open and close the opening 44a and an opening 44e is provided so as to visually recognize an LED mounted on the electric circuit board 33.
