PURPOSE: To provide a massage machine for measuring the physiological data including the body size, pulse rate, dermal temperature, etc., of a subject and performing appropriate massage corresponding to the hardness and relaxing condition of the subject based on the result of the measurement. CONSTITUTION: The massage machine has massaging fingers 40 and 40 for massaging the body of a subject and a control means 100 for controlling the motion of the massaging fingers 40 and 40. The massager also has a means 70 for measuring the size of the subject and a means 110 for measuring the physiological data of the subject generated from the massage applied to the subject. The size of the body of the subject, such as the positions of the neck, shoulders, back and hip are determined by the body size measuring means 70 and the parts where the hardness is strong and where the hardness is weak are determined by the physiological data measuring means 110, and therefore, an effective massage is applied to the subject according to the degree of the hardness.
