<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head having a thin die cut or forged face and a neck for housing a hosel tube in order to increase the structural integration of the club head. SOLUTION: The golf club head adapted for attachment to a shaft is provided. Such head includes a first portion forming the integral face and neck and the neck has a section subjected to keying. The second portion of the club head provides a main body having a crown region and a sole region and the crown region includes a keyway. A third portion is disposed in the form of the hosel tube. Such hosel tube has a top end configured and dimensioned to house the shaft. The hosel tube is housed and fixed into the neck. The first portion is fixed to the main body to form a cavity and the section subjected to keying fits into the keyway.</p> |
