PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fabricating puzzle pieces of a jigsaw puzzle wherein puzzle pieces, which are colorful and have a variety of shapes, can be efficiently fabricated from plastics and have a high fade resistance in use, and even if the pieces are injured, flaws cannot be easily found out. SOLUTION: A color original drawing 1 is made from a picture, color photograph, or the like. The colors constituting the original drawing 1 are divided in a region of the same color or in a region of similar colors by means of boundary lines 11 to form puzzle pieces 2A. The puzzle pieces 2A are collected according to the same color or similar colors and placed in a die 13. A resin agent 14 having a color corresponding to the puzzle pieces is forced into an injection molding machine to mold puzzle pieces 2B made of plastics.
