PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image reflecting the filling speed after destruction and disappearance of an ultrasonic contrast agent in an ultrasonic diagnostic instrument. SOLUTION: Ultrasonic waves are transmitted by strong transmission power at first, and thereafter, ultrasonic waves are transmitted by weak transmission power at a constant interval. Whereupon, the density of the contrast agent changes transiently correspondingly to the magnitude of a flow rate, and the amount of the ultrasonic contrast agent flowing in finally and the amount of the destructed and disappearing ultrasonic contrast agent become an equlibrium state. The image or difference images at respective frames are integrated and the integrated image is displayed as a contrast blood flow image.
