PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure blood pressure without being influenced by noise and an artifact by a body movement even when measuring the blood pressure at body movement time. SOLUTION: A photoelectric pulse wave by superimposing the noise caused by the body movement is taken in from a photoelectric sensor 6 in a pressure reducing process after pressurizing a cuff (ST51). Only the noise caused by the body movement is taken in from an acceleration sensor 5 (ST52). Both waves are put in an adaptive filter (ST60). The noise caused by the body movement is removed from the photoelectric pulse wave. Next, aperiodic noise is also removed by using a self-correlation function of the photoelectric pulse wave (ST61). A blood pressure value is calculated by using the photoelectric pulse wave after removing this noise (ST64).
