<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf shaft having an favorable EI distribution by improving the bending of the golf shaft during a swing. SOLUTION: The golf shaft has a front end side reinforcing portion from the front end up to 300 mm to the grip end side, a base end side gripper from the grip end up to 100 mm to the front end side and a central portion between the front end side reinforcing portion and the base end side gripper. The gold shaft satisfies the equation expression by EI=α.X (where EI (Nm2) is bending rigidity, X (mm) is the distance from the front end of the golf shaft andαis an arbitrary constant) in the central portion. Theαvalues of the golf shaft of embodiments 1 to 3 are respectively 0, 12, 0.09 and 0.06. As a result, the golf shaft which is improved in the bending of the golf club under the down swing and is liked by the majority of players and the golf clubs assembled with this golf shaft are provided.</p> |
