PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the necessity of a scraping work for casting block cooled and solidified near flowing passage of a pouring hole in a ladle after casting work and to contribute to a labor-saving and rationalization in such a kind of work. SOLUTION: The upper part of side walls 8 at the right and the left sides near the flowing passage of the pouring hole 2 in the ladle L is closed with a cover part 14. This ladle is a ceramic-made ladle integrally forming engaging projections 15 at the outsides of the side walls 8 at the right and the left sides near the flowing passage of the pouring hole 2. Ladle supporting metal took K are composed of side plates 17, 18 at the right and the left sides interposingly supporting by fitting to the engaging projections 15, a cover plate 19 connectedly fixing the upper end parts of these side plates 17, 18 and a connecting band 20 holding by abutting on the outside of the bottom part near the flowing passage of the pouring hole 2 and interposingly supporting by fixing both end parts to the lower end parts of the side plates.
