PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently circulate and polish rice in a rice polishing hopper having a plurality of small holes in a rice polisher for polishing milled rice by rotating a rice polishing member in the rice polishing hopper, even in the case the size of the device is enlarged. SOLUTION: A rice polishing member 21 comprises a rotating disc 23 that covers the bottom surface of the rice polishing hopper, and a cylindrical body 24, which is installed above the rotating disc 23, rotates together with the disc 23, and has a brush-shaped outer periphery. The rotating disc 23 is attached to the lower part of a rotary shaft 22, and has curved projected streaks 27, extended from the center side to the periphery side, on the upper surface. The cylindrical body 24 is connected to the rotary shaft by tabular connection members 26 sloped forward. Rice can be circulated and polished sufficiently in the rice polishing hopper, thereby obtaining washing-free rice that can be cooked without polishing rice with water.
