PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide fastener which is reinforced on both sides of a fastener chain 1, and can be attached to an adherend such as a bag and case in a secure and stable condition. SOLUTION: Reinforcement members 5, which are formed of a thermoelastic resin or an elastomer, or a synthetic rubber and each of which has a cross section formed in U shape, and given suitable pliability and flexibility, are bonded with hot-melt resin films 13 along the both outsides of the fastener chain 1. The reinforcement member 5 is formed with an attachment groove 8 which can be attached to a cloth edge of the adherend 16 such as the bag and case, and a concave groove 9 for thread on the outer surface. The attachment groove is inserted with the cloth, or the like of the adherend 16, and the concave groove 9 is sewed along with a thread 17. The reinforcement members 5 can be attached in a simple and stable condition, and are endurable for long time use. |
