PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the temperature of beverage in an conventional disposal cup at a desired level. SOLUTION: This beverage container consists of a cup to which a cap can be mounted attachably and detachably and an insulating cup holder for holding the cup. The cup has the side wall of an inverted frustum, a circumferential bead extending outward in a radial direction at the upper end of the side wall and an opening defined by the circumferential bead. The cap has a circumferential skirt which can be snapped to the bead and whose outer edge is suspended. The insulating cup holder has double-wall insulating structure consisting of an inner linear in the form of a bottomed cylinder and an outer body in the form of a bottomed cylinder surrounding the inner liner in a separated positional relation. The inner surface of the peripheral wall of the inverted frustum of the inner liner has a shape on which the substantially entire range of the outer surface of the side wall of the cup abuts, and is in a positional relation where the periphery of the outer body never obstructs the mounting of the cup to the cap.
