TOILET PAPER ROLL HOLDER AND TOOL FOR RESTRICTING UPWARD MOVEMENT OF UPPER LID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet paper roll holder by which toilet paper is easily pulled out and cut by one hand and to provide a self assisting tool which is attached to an upper lid of a toilet paper roll holder to restrict the upward movement of the upper lid only when cutting off the paper and make cut-off by one hand possible. SOLUTION: The toilet paper roll holder is provided with an upper lid upward movement restricting mechanism in the upper lid of the holder. The upper lid upward movement restricting tool is provided with a hook-and-loop fastener to be attached to the outer wall surface of one side wall of the holder and with a hook-and-loop fastener which consists of a flexible long-sized member having an attachment part to the upper surface of the upper lid at one end and an operating part at the other end and which is freely attachably/detachably fitted to the hook-and-loop fastener to be attached to the outer wall surface. The tool restricts the upward movement of the upper lid only when paper is cut regardless of the thickness of the paper part of the toilet paper roll.
