PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a flowerpot with natural texture where the characteristics of Oyaishi stone are utilized. SOLUTION: This method for producing a flowerpot comprises the following steps: cutting soft tuff such as Oyaishi stone into proper sized cubes to prepare plural cubes each having almost the same size, putting these cubes into a rotary mixer the body of which vertically rotates, making the cubes contact with each other and collide with each other so as to urge the cubes to be shaved with each other, stopping the rotation of the mixer at the stage where the corner part of each cube is shaved while the circular flat surface is left at the center of each side, and punching holes on the cube, for banking and drainage.
