PURPOSE:To reduce the wiring inductance of an inverter device by twisting the wirings from a smoothing condenser to the inverter. CONSTITUTION:A snubber circuit is connected to transistors in an inverter 4. A 3-phase induction motor 5 is connected as a load to the output side of the inverter 4. Wirings between a smoothing condenser 2 and the inverter 4 are twisted at 3, as shown, at the positive and negative side wirings. Accordingly, crossing magnetic fluxes are cancelled to each other, thereby reducing the wiring inductance. In this manner, the energy to be absorbed by a snubber circuit for suppressing the jump-up of the voltage in response to the reduction of the inductance is reduced, the capacities of the resistors and the condensers forming the snubber circuit can be reduced that much, thereby decreasing the size of the snubber circuit. |
