PURPOSE: A speaker of portable terminal and connection/fixing apparatus thereof is provided to easy minimize a main body of a portable terminal and to improve an assembling. CONSTITUTION: A main board(40) has an opening where a coin-type speaker(30) is directly penetrated and joined in a vertical direction. A joining part(34) is extended from the bottom of the coin-type speaker and inserts the coin-type speaker into the opening. In the case that the speaker is mounted at the opening, a connection means is provided between the joining part and the main board so as to connect the joining part and the main board. The connection means comprises positive and negative terminals(36a,36b) provided along a circumference of the speaker, and the first and second connection parts(42a,42b) placed along the circumference of the opening so as to be connected to the terminals, respectively.
