PURPOSE: A method for compensating for an RF transmission output characteristics of a wide band CDMA wireless local loop(W-CDMA WLL) is provided, which compensates for a nonlinear RF characteristics using a CAM(Content Addressable Memory) method which models a nonlinear function. CONSTITUTION: The method includes a training step and a compensation step. The training step measures a transmitted power as to a transmission control value(TXAGC) at points of random number and then trains a neural network using the transmitted power as an input and the transmission control value as a destination value. In the compensation step, a CAM(Content Addressable Memory)(21) is generated, which models a nonlinear function by forming the neural network using parameter generated from the training step, and then a transmission power required in the present state by a power control routine(20) is calculated, and the transmission control value is calculated using the calculated transmitted power as an input of the CAM, and then the transmission control value is recorded in a corresponding register of a MODEM ASIC(2).
