PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and light vacuum cleaner where operability is improved by reducing a load on the hand of a user when the cleaner is operated forward and backward concerning the vacuum cleaner where the cleaner body is freely turnably attached to a sucking part where an intake port for collecting dust is formed. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner body 24 incorporated a motor-driven blower 25 is freely attachably/detachably fitted to a sucking part 21 where an intake port 23 for collecting dust is formed. A movement roller 37 is arranged coaxially with the sucking part 21 and the turning center of the cleaner body 24. When at least the main body 24 is turned, the axial center of the motor-driven blower 25 is positioned at the front side of the cleaner body 24 from the rotary center 37a of the movement roller 37.
