PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment for reclining a seat for vehicle to prevent backlashes in a direction of the periphery of a lock gear, or backlashes in a direction of the periphery of a lid, when locked. SOLUTION: The following parts are formed inside a circular dent 14 of a frame 10 of the equipment: Guides 11 to lead plural lock gears 20 respectively are formed, and a protrusion 80 jutting toward a lid is formed. The protrusion 80 and plural lock gears 20 led by the guides 11 are placed around the periphery of the equipment at a certain interval. A cam-shaped plate 40 has a cam surface 41 to actuate the lock gear 20 outward and a cam surface 42 to make contact with the protrusion 80.
