PRODUCTS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR EC AND PRODUCTS MANAGEMENT METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A products management system for the EC(Electric Commerce) and a products management method using the same are provided to variably apply a product classification level according to a product characteristic and make a keyword search by a product name possible. CONSTITUTION: The products management system comprises an interface(310), an input part(320), a classification item management DB(330), a product management DB(340), a search part(350) and a display(360). The interface carries out the interface with the external users in order to change or search the information managed by the system. The classification item management DB hierarchically manages the classification items including respective products. The product management DB stores and manages the product information, the sales information and the classification hierarchy information of the adjacent classification item. The input part applies the data to each DB by receiving the data from the interface part. The search part extracts the product information and the classification information of the product according to the keyword by searching each DB with the keyword inputted from the interface.
