PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress to be separated which serves for many purposes, is designed to reduce weight of the mattress, and enables a user to use a part of or the whole mattress as a cushion or a small-sized Futon (Japanese quilt and mattress) and to separate, assemble, or carry it easily, and to dry and disinfect the mattress by exposing it to the sun easily. SOLUTION: The mattress to be separated is made up of an inner mattress folded into an N-shape by holding its surface and outer mattresses designed to place on the both sides of the inner mattress. The mattress to be separated has a structure that the outer mattress can also be folded into an N-shape by bending its width.
