A dispenser housing (1) which can be used as a disposable packaging possesses a housing space (9) for a tape roll (18), which housing space (9) is formed by a housing part (2) fixed on a support (8). At the outlet slit (11) of a flat slit channel (10) branching off from the housing space (9) a knife-sharp tear-off edge (12) is disposed between an upper wall (6) of the housing part (2) and the support (8), the opposite wall (6) projecting over said tear-off edge (12), so that a user is protected against undesired contact with the tear-off edge (12). A recess exposing the tear-off edge (12) is provided, from the outer edge, in the support (8), so that the tape can be bent over the tear-off edge (12) and severed. In the wall (6) is disposed a recess (20) by means of which the tape located in the slit channel (10) can be advanced. <IMAGE>
