PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide flange shape member with stiffeners, excellent in structural safety and economical efficiency without increasing welding execution costs even when the plate thickness of the stiffener is large. SOLUTION: Stiffeners 3 are fixed to a web 1a and both flanges 1b of the wide flange shape member 1 by electroslag welding 5a or gas metal arc welding.
