PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solution of eliminating defective correction due to distortion of a path roll. SOLUTION: Even though a crown roll is distorted by stress strain from own weight of the crown roll 34 and the web 12, a contact surface between the crown roll 34 and the web 12 becomes a flat surface as the shape of the crown roll 34 is specified so that the contact surface between the crown roll 34 and the web 12 is flat. Thus defective correction due to distortion of the pass roll is eliminated.
