PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary apparatus for mat seedling movement of a rice transplanter developed so that the mat seedling not only in a state of the wetted base of the mat seedling but also the mat seedling in a state thereof hardly slipping due to advanced natural drying can smoothly be guided and moved while keeping the slipping down thereof. SOLUTION: This auxiliary apparatus for the mat seedling movement of the rice transplanter is obtained by arranging one or a plurality of seedling guide tools 1 extending from the top of a seedling-carrying platform B in the longitudinal direction along the surface tilt of the seedling-carrying platform B made of a plastic and having a plurality of protruding ridges formed side by side and at a suitable height L1 from the surface and thereby promoting the slipping of the mat seedling C deteriorating the slipping by natural drying so as to keep the slipping down of the mat seedling C.
