PURPOSE: A double cone-type synchronizer of a manual transmission is provided to improve processability of projection units installed to a gear corn ring and to reduce fail in synchronizing. CONSTITUTION: A double cone-type synchronizer of a manual transmission includes a sleeve, an outer ring, a gear cone ring, and a gear. The sleeve is installed to a side member and the sleeve moves axially. The outer ring axially moves by the movement of the sleeve and forms a cone-friction surface inside. Gear cone ring forms cone-friction surface having synchronizing friction with the cone-friction surface of the outer ring outside. Projection units(7) of the gear cone ring are coupled to circular holes(5). The section of the projection unit is a square shape and each corner contacting with the circular hole is a round shape. The processability of the projection units is improved by forming projection units of the gear cone ring regardless of the curvature of the circular hole.
