<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially shorten a machine stopping time for tool changing operation. SOLUTION: In a tool change system in which one or a plurality of machine tools operates a workpiece while changing a plurality of tools by an automatic tool changing means, a tool usage rate calculating means 1 for finding a tool usage rate for each tool in each tool magazine of the machine tool from past tool usage records for each of operated parts, a tool life grasping means 2 for calculating remaining life of the tool in each tool magazine of the machine tool, a changing tool forecasting means 3 for forecasting an hour when each tool comes to end of its life from a remaining life of each tool calculated by the tool life grasping means and the usage rate calculated by the tool usage rate calculating means and abstracts a tool to be changed, and a changing tool indicating means 3 for indicating the tool to be changed, abstracted by the changing tool forecasting means, to an worker or the like, are provided.</p> |
