<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orthodontic member that helps reduce manufacturing cost, exhibits an aesthetic property, has high strength and high durability, does not contain an allergenic substance, can be reliably adhered to the teeth, is not liable to abraise antagonists during orthodontia, prevents adhesion of plaques during orthodontia, can be easily separated from the teeth after orthodontia, and is well slidable relatively to an arch wire when it is used as that which permits engagement of the arch wire to retain a correction line. SOLUTION: A bracket 10 as the orthodontic member has a body 1 to correct a dentition, and a bonding base 2 connected to the body 1 and that can be adhered to the teeth 11. The body 1 and the bonding base 2 are formed of calcium phosphate crystallized glass.</p> |
