<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for organic waste water which performs treatment of BOD load well in advance by shortening the startup period before the start of the stationary treatment of a target BOD load and is capable of performing nitrification as well in addition to oxidation of BOD by lowering the BOD load per number of individuals of microorganisms. SOLUTION: In starting the treatment, the waste water of a treatment concentration lower than the target treatment concentration (BOD load) of a stationary operation is introduced into a water treating vessel 2 provided with cord-like microorganism carries 3 to start a water treatment and after the microorganisms increase, the treatment concentration is increased and the waste water of the concentration higher than the target treatment concentration is introduced into the water treating vessel 2, by which the quantities of the microorganisms are increased at a time and the microorganisms of the quantities greater than the quantities of the microorganisms necessary for the target BOD treatment are acclimatized and thereafter the concentration is decreased to the target treatment concentration, the stationary operation to introduce the waste water of the target treatment concentration is thereafter performed.</p> |
