PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment for a shelf which enables a user to use a head or to attach a face by adding the minimum parts on the same shelf board in case that there are different kinds of objects to be stored in the equipment for the shelf and causes no vertical gaps at a joint when the other shelf board is placed horizontally at the same height. SOLUTION: A joining part 5 with a pair of holding pieces 6, 7 which keep the top and the bottom sides of a shelf board 3 is placed as a protrusion on the back of an end of a face 4 with a length to cover the whole horizontal width along a front edge of the shelf board 3. A catching part 8 with a hooking piece 9 facing downward is placed as a protrusion on the back of the middle of the face or a position close to the other end of the face. The front edge of the shelf board is held by the holding pieces 6, 7 at the top and the bottom of the joining part 5, and the hooking piece of the catching part 8 is dropped in and caught on a dent 10 for joining formed at a front edge on the upper side of the shelf board.
