PURPOSE: To provide an assist grip capable of improving appearance characteristics and safety by storing a hook member in an installation base to the utmost when unused. CONSTITUTION: This assist grip is provided with the installation base 2, and a grip main body 1 rotatably connected to the installation base 2 through a pivotal shaft 3, and the grip main body 1 is changeable by rotation to a non- usage position along a cabin installation wall 7 and a usage position protruded into a cabin. The installation base 2 has a storing part 20 having a lower opening 20a, and it has the hook member 10 slidably assembled with the containing part 20 to be pulled from a stored state where it is almost contained in the containing part 20 except for a lower part to a protruded state where it is pulled through the opening 20a for a specified size.
