PURPOSE:To start smooth and speedy reproduction after a gap or search by controlling a disk motor on the basis of a corrected speed detection signal in a period wherein a synchronizing signal can not be obtained. CONSTITUTION:When a search commanding circuit 32 generates a search start signal, a contact (b) of a switch circuit 2 is made to form a control loop by the corrected speed detection signal, and a pickup 3 is fed at a high speed by a feeding device 4. When the pickup approaches a target, the feed speed is reduced and an address detecting circuit detects the pickup reaching the target address; and the circuit 32 generates a search end signal and a contact (b) of the circuit 24 is made to form a control loop by a horizontal synchronizing signal. Switching from the control by the corrected detection signal of frequency higher than that of a frame synchronizing signal to control by the horizontal synchronizing signal is performed after the searching operation is completed, so the switching is carried out speedily and stably without any disorder of control. |
