The invention relates to a roller bit for tunnel-boring machines. In preart embodiment types, the entire roller base body (1) always had to be replaced due to the manner in which the bits (3) or cutting points are fastened when the bits (3) were worn out, as they were braze welded or shrink fitted to the roller base body (1). According to the invention, the bits (3) or the cutting points are inserted in a detachable manner so that they can be changed out in the body (1) which carries them. The bits or cutting points can be replaced onsite in a problem-free manner.
