PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate mount connector of a comparative small dimension which is fixed to a circuit substrate by a fastening means. SOLUTION: A substrate mount connector contains a slit housing 20 containing a projection wall 21. A plurality of contacts 30 are disposed along both side surfaces of the projection wall 21. Through holes 23 passing through toward a bottom surface 22 are formed at plural spots of the projection wall 21 in a longitudinal direction. A long and narrow metal board 60 having a hole 61 corresponding to the through hole 23 is disposed on a top surface 21a of the projection wall 21. The substrate connector is disposed at a prescribed position of a circuit substrate, and it is firmly fixed to the circuit substrate when the hole 61 of the metal board 60 engages with a rivet 50 passing through the through hole 23 of the housing 20 with respect to a long and narrow metal board disposed on a reverse surface of the circuit substrate, and a sufficient reinforcement is attained at the same time. |
