PURPOSE:To perform the disconnection test before and after laying easily by providing a cylindrical protecting body in the part of an exposed optical fiber core and sticking a connector through the protecting body so that it can be connected to the external. CONSTITUTION:An optical cable 1 has a sheath 3 eliminated in the terminal, and an optical fiber core 4 is exposed there. The circumferential face of this cylindrical body 6 is recessed partially, and a hole 6B piercing the cylindrical body 6 from the inside to the outside is provided in the bottom of this recessed part 6A. A connector 5 attached to the tip of the optical fiber core 4 is stuck to the recessed part 6A from the inside of the cylindrical body 6 toward the outside. Since the connector 5 pierces a protecting body 2 from the inside to the outside and is stuck, the disconnection test before and after laying is performed easily without detaching the protecting body only by connecting a disconnection testing equipment to the connector.
