PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for controlling devices in a home network and a home network system applying the same are provided to control service operations of devices connected in the home network by batch processing. CONSTITUTION: If a service for performing a batch processing is selected among services provided from devices, a batch processing unit(4) generates a batch command about the selected service. If the batch command is selected, a control unit(6) controls a device designated in the batch command so that the device performs an operation according to the batch command. A device information storing unit(2) stores private IP addresses assigned in the devices. If the batch command is selected, a transmitting and receiving unit(3) transmits the batch command to an IP address of the device designated in the batch command.
