PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmitter, an optical receiver and an optical cross connector that are applied to an optical wavelength multiplex communica tion system, the optical cross connector where path conversion is enabled with out the need for wavelength conversion. SOLUTION: The optical cross connector in which path conversion is applied to an information wave that is modulated by information to be communicated and arrives from a plurality of paths, extracts data from a pilot wave sent with the information wave from all input paths, multiplexes all the data to relay the pilot wave and transmits the pilot wave and the information wave whose path is converted to all output paths. |
