<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcasting corresponding type ATM transmitter capable of preventing the deterioration of efficiency on the design of this device by minimizing the increase of the data quantity of an ATM cell signal, and reducing the increase of costs to the minimum by making it possible to install a broadcasting corresponding function later. SOLUTION: This device is provided with exclusive routes 201-204 for allowing each corresponding input interface functioning part to directly input a signal from each output interface functioning part, branching parts 101-104 installed at each output interface functioning part for duplicating an ATM cell signal 10 based on the data contents of the header of the ATM cell signal 10, and for outputting one ATM cell signal 10 to a transmission path, and for outputting the other ATM cell signal 10 to the exclusive routes 201-204, and multiplexing parts 121-124 installed at each input interface functioning part for multiplexing the ATM cell signal 10 inputted from the transmission path and the ATM cell signal 10 inputted from the exclusive paths, and for outputting it to an ATM switch part 23.</p> |
