PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging unit provided with a zoom function for controlling the superimposition area of images which are obtained by a plurality of imaging systems having a zoom adjustment function and segmenting the image by changing an image segmenting area through the use of an electric method. SOLUTION: The imaging unit is provided with a plurality of imaging means having the zoom function to photograph the image of an object from different viewpoints, a zoom amount output means which is arranged in each imaging means and outputs the zoom amount of each imaging means and an image segmenting means for segmenting a part of each image which is photographed by each imaging means. The image segmenting means is connected to the zoom amount output means. The imaging unit is provided with the zoom function which is characterized by determining a part to be segmented from each image photographed by each imaging means through the use of the zoom amount from each zoom amount output means. |
