PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having zero insertion force which will not damage either the electrode or contact, enables easy connection at a touch of button, and especially, maintains a stable contact state between the contact and the electrode. SOLUTION: The connector 90, as a cable connector, is connected in alignment at one side of a plasma display, and is composed of a contact part, a contact attaching member 94, a slider member 96, and a lever member 100. In a state with a glass board 12b and the connector 90 being completely connected, the locking state of a contact 104 with a claw part 114c of the slider member 96 is released, by moving the slider member 96 leftward via the lever member 100, and a convex part of a contact 106 falls into a concave part of the slider member 96. Then, second contact parts of the contacts 104, 106 are displaced downward to abut against an electrode 16a. |
