PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform power-saving control having a higher power-saving effect in an image forming device which is constructed by combining an image reader with an image writer and provided with a facsimile function. SOLUTION: When a facsimile function is selected by a mode selection key A1b from a power-saving state to perform a facsimile operation, a power-saving control means A2a controls the temperature of a heater body A3a lower than the temperature in an image formation standby state, namely, when the facsimile function is selected by the selection key A1b from the power-saving state, the temperature is controlled so as to maintain the power-saving state. |
