PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make user operation easy in the same manner as that of image printing in the case of performing facsimile transmission. SOLUTION: In a host computer 1, a printer driver realized in such a manner that a processor operates on the basis of a driver program 15a performs a printing instruction and print data transmission to a digital combination machine 2 in response to a printing request from a user. At that time, the printer driver confirms whether or not a destination telephone number described in prescript font for destination designation exists in image data to be printed, and attaches a command for facsimile transmission showing the destination telephone number to the print data when the destination telephone number exists. In the facsimile combination machine 2, a CPU 21 performs image printing when the command for facsimile transmission is not attached to the transmitted print data, and performs facsimile transmission when the command for facsimile transmission is attached. |
