PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless data communication system that adopts a configuration based on broadband modulation and can use both a narrow band modulation system and a broadband modulation system and to provide a base station, a mobile station and a program. SOLUTION: The base station 1 has a modulation means that applies narrow band modulation to a part of transmission signals where a modulation occupied band width is 25 kHz or below and applies broadband modulation to the other transmission signals where a modulation occupied band width is 25 kHz or over. Furthermore, each of mobile stations 1 (2) and 2 (3) has a demodulation means that demodulates a part of received signals subjected to narrow band modulation where a modulation occupied band width is 25 kHz or below and demodulates the other received signals subjected to broadband modulation where a modulation occupied band width is 25 kHz or over.
