PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for providing and retrieving an option usable by a customer for a printing job while the customer is preparing the printing job. SOLUTION: The system and method includes a step of providing a printing process system controller registering a printing ability of a printing provider, a step of defining a network communication link between the customer and the printing process system controller, a step of receiving a data file for the printing job by the printing process system controller via the network communication link, and a step of determining at least one document type for the printing job via the printing process system controller. The step of determining at least one document type for the printing job includes a step of processing the data file for the printing job to determine at least one document type for the printing job. |
