PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system preventing the occurrence of an accident by illegal use such as the theft and the forgery of a card with high safety (security) in a card settlement system by the credit card. SOLUTION: The card settlement system is provided with an authentication system by a card information processing unit 1 and an authentication center 4, an authentication option 10, an authentication unit 20 and a portable telephone set 30 and authentication work is reinforced. A wireless ID signal is transmitted from the authentication option 10 to the authentication unit 20 and a level 2 is authenticated. An identification signal is transmitted from the authentication unit 20 to an authentication center 4 via the authentication option 10 and the processing unit 1, and a level 3 is authenticated. The telephone number of the portable telephone set 30 is received by the authentication center 4 and a level 4 is authenticated. |
